In order to facilitate the supervision of the Public Security Authorities to access to the Cathedral, you are invited to empty the pockets of metal objects and open the bags . We also inform you that it’s forbidden to enter the Cathedral with helmets, glass objects and luggage.We strongly encourages you not bring big bags.

Visitors may be asked by our staff to begin leaving 30 minutes before closing time.
Admission times, visit path, shops and ticket offices schedule may change during special liturgical celebrations, on notice of Local Authorities or Public Security Authorities, due to organizational needs of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano or in case of bad weather condition.
Tickets are non-refundable.
FREE ADMISSION: (Required documents) In case of free admission please, get the free ticket. Children up to 6 years old - People with disabilities and helper - Military personnel in uniform - Tour guides in the exercise of their professional activities and followed by a group.

CRYPT OF ST. CHARLES (inside the Cathedral)
The Crypt of St.Charles, from Monday to Saturday, from 9.30 am to 11.00 am, is reserved only to personal prayer (with direct access to the reserved area).

Worshippers access is limited to specific areas and itineraries.
A pass is available for the worshippers who daily access the Cathedral: the pass grants access also in the area housing the urns of the Blessed Archbishops, card. Andrea Ferrari, card. Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster, il card. Dionigi Tettamanzi, the relic of Blessed card. Giovanni Battista Montini (Paolo VI) and the Crypt of St.Charles. In particular, the Crypt of St.Charles, from Monday to Saturday, from 9.30 am to 11.00 am, is reserved only to personal prayer (with direct access to the reserved area).
The pass can be requested free in the Masses Sacristy of the Duomo. 

Access mode for groups 
Groups must book the date and the time slot for their visit in the section BOOKING at www.duomomilano.it The amplification system is compulsory for groups inside the Cathedral. Groups can use their own microphone system inside the Cathedral if provided with.
In any case, groups must book the date and the time slot for their visit in the section BOOKING.

Only groups organized by Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo have priority access, depending on the the organisational requirements of the Historical Monumental Complex.
